Soooooo we climbed a mountain, Yonah to be exact! It was an amazing experience and view. But it took us 3 hours to get there and let me tell you it was the most physically draining but emotionally fulfilling thing and let me tell you why. Long story short one of my squad-mates broke his heel and couldn't walk on it and wanted to go so originally the boys were just going to carry him but we all realized soon that we will all need to help and all need to contribute. Four people carried him at a time, stretcher style. If you weren't carrying you were carrying someone's backpack and by the end of it you didn’t know who’s pack you had or where yours was. But the view and the teamwork was so worth it and we would all climb it again. When we got there we looked at the most incredible view. I am a scaredy cat so I didn't get too close to the edge. But we made a fire and roasted hot dogs and s’mores, if you know me I LOVE hotdogs especially at ball games or cookouts or anything. It was SOOOO fun! Then I stargazed from my tent. It was so cold but it was so much fun to just be in a community around a fire and joking and just to laugh and have fun!
